If you measure the productivity of a group, you will find that the productivity of the top 20% performers equals the rest 80%. And out of the top 20%, the super performers will be only 3%.

This has always fascinated me and made me wonder what is it that the 20% and 3% do to out perform the remaining 80%. Upon doing some research, I found the following things about the 20% achievers:

• They think positive all the time.
• They convert adversaries to opportunities.
• They are always willing to share.
• They believe in giving back to the community.
• They are focused.
• They have all failed several times before.
• They persevere.
• They are activity oriented.
• They understand the law of attraction.
• They know their strengths and weaknesses.
• They utilise their strengths to their advantage.
• They work on their weaknesses.
• They visualise their goals.
• They plan their work and work their plan.
• They are sincere and honest.
• They respect others.
• THEY JUST DO IT

I can go on and on... Are these traits in built or learnable? All these traits can be learnt. It is all in your MIND. Humans are created as winners we are capable of amazing things. Just look how fearless a child is. Unfortunately, society programs us to be failures and we just surrender and remain as mediocre for the rest of life.

The 20% and especially the 3% refuse to surrender and fight back and get excellence. What can we learn from them and how can we follow them?
